No cycle repair is ever exactly the same and I strive to provide a personal service to each and every customer. When your cycle enters my workshop it will have a complete safety check and be fully assessed before costs are estimated and agreed upon.

Hour Repair of £40 is our standard labour rate to individual jobs that fall outside the scope of our service packages, such as upgrading a groupset, fitting bottom bracket, or bleeding hydraulic brakes. This rate typically represents the upper threshold before we recommend transitioning to a service package, and it is also used to assess more complex or unconventional repairs, allowing us to calculate a clear, itemised quote and obtain your approval before any work begins.

Half Hour Repair of £20 is designed for urgent, one-off fixes rather than routine servicing, with the goal of getting you back on the bike as quickly as possible. This service represents our minimum charge, making it ideal for straightforward jobs such as replacing a broken cable, resolving a leaking tubeless tyre, or indexing your gears.

Check & Tune Service £60
The Check & Tune Service is a comprehensive technical appraisal focused on inspecting and fine-tuning critical components to ensure optimal performance. This service is ideal if your bike is generally in good condition but requires minor adjustments, routine wear-item replacements, or a pre-event validation. We thoroughly inspect every component for wear or damage, confirm compliance with safety and legal standards, and make precise adjustments so everything functions as intended. If consumable parts such as brake pads, tyres, cables, or chains are worn or misaligned—or if your gears feel rough and braking performance has declined—this service will restore smooth, reliable operation.
Optimisation Service £100
The Optimisation Service brings your bike back to its best, restoring that smooth, quiet, and efficient ride it had when it was new. The drivetrain is fully removed and given a proper deep clean, then freshly lubricated, with any worn consumable parts replaced to keep everything running sweetly and silently. Brakes are brought back up to spec, the headset is serviced so it turns smoothly and stays well protected, wheels are trued for straight, silent running, and the tyre system is checked for deterioration, damage. It’s the ideal service if your bike’s picked up a few niggles after a good season of riding and just needs a thorough tune-up to get it ready for what’s next. The whole bike is carefully inspected along the way, with anything worth noting discussed before the work is carried out, so you can ride off confident it’s been looked after properly; note that eBike motor and suspension servicing are not included.
Restoration Service £200
A Restoration Service is a complete, end-to-end overhaul in which every component of your bicycle is removed, stripped down, inspected, serviced, and reassembled with absolute precision using the highest-quality lubricants and assembly compounds. Every bearing is assessed for overhaul or replacement, all fasteners are refreshed with appropriate threadlock or anti-seize, brakes are fully flushed and tuned to your preferred feel, drivetrain alignment and indexing are perfected, and chains are treated with premium lubricant or wax. Designed as a true “one and done” solution, this service eliminates every creak, rub, squeak, and tick to deliver total peace of mind and performance that is better than new—guaranteed—making it ideal for bikes with multiple or emerging issues where comprehensive, preventative restoration is the smartest choice; note that eBike motor and suspension servicing are not included.
